The Occupational Skills Programme: Assessment Practitioner is a Level 5 qualification with 20 credits, designed to prepare learners to conduct outcomes-based assessments of competence in occupational settings. This programme provides learners with knowledge of assessment principles, as well as practical skills in planning, conducting, and administering assessments aligned to occupational standards. Learners will gain the confidence to design appropriate instruments, apply rubrics, and ensure fair, valid, and reliable assessment practices.
